Patient Testimonials

"I was petrified before I came in. ..probably more afraid than most. Dr.Jones and his staff completed a thorough exam of my teeth and gums, followed by a well-explained, DETAILED outcome and plan of action. Completed my second visit today - a very deep cavity needed filling. I was seen right on time and was completely satisfied with the entire process and outcome. I especially appreciated Kelly's ability to assuage my fear and apprehension. Great job all around! - Mildred L.

Advances in technology have brought about some truly remarkable changes in our lives and dentistry is certainly no exception. We choose state-of-the-art technology based on the benefits it will provide our patients. Will it make your treatment more comfortable? More efficient and effective? If we can answer yes to these questions, we know we've found another method for making everything about your experience with us enjoyable and stress-free.

Digital Radiography (X-Rays)

Traditional film x-rays are an essential diagnostic tool that have been used in dentistry for decades. Today, however, we have the ability to use digital x-rays to take highly detailed images of your teeth and other structures of your mouth. The digital sensor used to take the images may resemble traditional x-ray film, but it's actually linked to a computer.

Since your x-rays are digital, we can view them together as soon as they’re taken. They are available for discussion and, ultimately, better diagnostics and patient education. Understanding what’s involved allows you to make better treatment decisions, promoting a feeling of trust and confidence in your dental team.

Intraoral Cameras

Intraoral Cameras at The Dental Group | Lewes, DE

Intraoral cameras are a special type of technology developed specifically for use in dentistry. This handheld instrument allows us to show you images of your mouth so you get a clear picture of what’s happening and why treatment is necessary.

An intraoral camera is very small, about the size of a pen. Using this specialized equipment, we can produce highly-detailed, precise images of your teeth and gums. This information helps you see what we see and also allows us to make an accurate diagnosis.

Paperless Office

We believe in doing our part to support a clean environment by employing updated technologies. One of the ways we do this is by streamlining our processes to allow for paperless processing of all your forms. Now you don't have to sit in the office spending time filling out forms – you can do it all right here online at our Forms page!
